Mashrafe runs riot against Sheikh Jamal

Bangladesh skipper Mashrafe Bin Mortaza on Saturday smashed an outstanding century against Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club during Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League.

The record-breaking 50-ball century by Mashrafe helped Kalabagan Krira Chakra set 317-run target for Sheikh Jamal.

Mashrafe scored a total of 104 runs from 51 balls with 11 sixes and two fours in the innings. This is for the first time the Bangladesh captain managed to score a century in List-A cricket league.

He, however, bagged seven half centuries in list-A matches. This is also the quickest century by a Bangladeshi in first class cricket.

Mashrafe picked his first fifty from 35 balls, but the second one took just 15 balls to reach the milestone.

In 46th over, Mash hit 3 sixes, and in the 48th over stroke another four sixes.
